I have a few of the "Adagios" series already, like "Albinoni Adagios," and "Movie Adagios," etc. The other CDs seem to have collections that are quite adagio. The "Harp Adagios," however, are not necessarily adagio! In fact, they have the fastest version of Bach's "Prelude in C" I've heard! It jars me out of my Adagio-reverie when the CD auto-repeats from Arvo Part's transcendent "Spiegel im Spiegel" (last track), to the intense rendition of the "Prelude in C!"
I watch this movie so much. it's a fantastic movie to watch over and over.
A Very Special Christmas 2 is the second in the A Very Special Christmas series of Christmas-themed compilation albums produced to benefit the Special Olympics. The album was released on 20 October 1992, and production was overseen by Jimmy Iovine, Vicki Iovine and Robert Sargent Shriver for A&M Records. Tupac Shakur was supposed to be featured on the album, but due to legal trouble his song was dropped.
Album · 2006 · 25 Songs. Lovers' Adagios Various Artists. Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2 & Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1. Herbert von Karajan, Stanislaw Wislocki, Sviatoslav Richter, Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra & Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
A classic and super relatable movie if you've ever attended sleepaway camp (or you know, have a twin you didn't know about then make a plan to reunite your divorce parents then live happily ever after). Prepare to get all the feels watching Lindsay Lohan in her glory days playing both (yes, both) Hallie and Annie Parker alongside Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson. If we had a penny for every time somebody raved about this movie, we would be very rich. Gump takes us through his life, which will have you continuously alternating between laughing, crying, and smiling. A must-see that will continue to make its way to people's screens for years to come.
Various lives converge on an isolated island, all connected by an author whose novel has become inextricably entwined with his own life. An unexperienced young actress is invited to play a role in a film based on Dostoyevsky's 'The Possessed'.
When the trees go up, the lights start twinkling. And when the egg nog starts flowing, there are a lot of opportunities to to get in the Christmas spirit by revisiting (or checking out for the first time) our choices for the 40 best Christmas movies. But if you really sit back and let go of the fact that you can call literally every twist and turn, then you come to realize that A Christmas Prince is actually the perfect Christmas movie. There’s no plot to follow or anything: it’s just full on Christmas spirit, bottled in the story of a journalist and a rogue prince in a country that isn’t even real.
