About Young For Eternity. Young For Eternity Q&A.

All or Nothing is the second studio album by English rock trio The Subways and was released on 30 June 2008. Songs such as "Kalifornia" and "Shake! Shake!" had been played as early as 2004, 2005.

So, this concludes the interesting experience that is the Subways debut album Young for Eternity. It varies from manufactured pop songs (. Rock &Roll Queen) to the emotional indie epic (. Somewhere and Lines of Light) with many stops in between. Their influences may be apparent, but on the back of debut LP 'Young For Eternity', it's difficult to dislike young English outfit The Subways.

Also like the Monkeys, the Subways shrewdly shy away from Vines-style megalomania or Chris Martin's brand of heavy-handed magnanimity while also remaining as stylistically vague as possible, resembling the last 15 years of rock residue rather than any one or two particular bands.

Although im not easily taken by indie rock bands, The Subways debut Young For Eternity definitely changes that. The album is a typical British indie rock album for the mid 00's - an Artic Monkey's punk sound; but with the twist of female backing vocals (thanks to bassist Charlotte Cooper). We have upbeat and some downtempo songs; similar to The Fratellis, Costello Music - with the majority being upbeat. Tracks like No Goodbyes and Lines of Light are very reminiscent of British supergroup Oasis. A good album with a good selection of tracks. My favourite has to be With You - although the music video is a big let down
