These tracks are the real tracks that started a clubbing revolution. I left out the cheesy tracks that are on most rave party anthem CDs. They were ok but they did not represent the true sound DJ's were creating in 89 90 91. There was so much good music forgotten about and, or not included in the various "Rave Anthems' compilations; that I decided to compile this list that is still a work in progress. A lot of these tracks were anthems on the dancefoor and you only heard them at the underground clubs that were emerging all over the UK and Europe. Unfortunately the record companies just kept packaging & giving us the same 20-30 Songs on any album that referred to old school, rave anthems. Hope you this selection. Great for an original rave classics party or a Sunday BBQ. Enjoy People.

Below you will find 100 classic 1990s Hip Hop tracks. 1. Pete Rock & CL Smooth - They Reminisce Over You (. They Reminisce Over You (. was inspired by the death of Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s close friend Troy Dixon (better known as Trouble T. Roy of Heavy D & the Boyz) in 1990. The song was the lead single off their monumental debut album Mecca And The Soul Brother and is now widely regarded as one of the best Hip Hop songs ever  . A classic narrative of life on the NYC streets, this is one of the many classics Nas’ partnership with DJ Premier would yield and just maybe the biggest of them all. 5. 2Pac - Dear Mama (1995). 2Pac was able to switch from a violent thug to an intelligent, sensitive guy like no other.

Old School Jams (The Best Of). Various Artist. Unlike the rest of the Old School Rap series, which presents these classic, must have hip hop cuts in their full glory, Vol. 3 ruins them by slicing and dicing them into truncated versions. Some genius decided that simply presenting these immortal songs in their entirety wasn't good enough, and they hired the legendary Grandmaster Flash to chop them up and present them mix tape style. The songs featured here are real classics, covering such perspectives as: educational (KRS-One with Boogie Down Productions), beat box (Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick), female (Roxanne Shante), pop (Young MC, Tone Loc), and just straight-up founders (Eric B and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T, DJ Quik, et.
