Made Easy is quite an accomplished and ambitious effort. Made Easy immediately set up the blueprint of Ice Cream Hands' sound. While the tracks are not quite as strong or memorable as later material (especially that found on Memory Lane Traffic Jam), most of it is excellent nonetheless. The sing-along opener "Let's Take a Look Inside" could almost be considered the band's mission statement; the lines "To blaze higher, endlessly - that won't impress.
In 1993 they released a full-length album, Travelling. Made Easy, and Douglas Robertson replaced Arch Larizza on bass guitar-Arch re-united with Chris Bailey (ex-The Saints) in Bailey's backing band. Icecream Hands briefly reunited for The Good China, issued in 2007 on the independent label Dust Devil Music. Jenkins returned to his solo work and released Blue Atlas on Dust Devil Music in 2008. Made Easy (1993) – Rubber Records, Shock Records. Memory Lane Traffic Jam (August 1997) – Rubber, BMG, Not Lame Recordings. Sweeter Than the Radio (1999) – Rubber, BMG.
