Bye Bye Blackbird (Live In Stockholm, Sweden, 1962) by John Coltrane. But the out-of-tune piano sounds, to my ears, like the same miserable 'ax' heard on the Impulse-recorded tracks of October 8, 1963 on LIVE AT BIRDLAND - of course, even more grossly out-of-tune by the later date. In any case, I STILL don't believe, for one minute, that these tracks were recorded with the same ed equipment as all the others in this set.

Bye Bye Blackbird" is a song published in 1926 by the American composer Ray Henderson and lyricist Mort Dixon. It is considered a popular standard and was first recorded by Sam Lanin's Dance Orchestra in March 1926, followed by Nick Lucas and Gene Austin the same year. It was the song of 1926 according to Pop Culture Madness. Bye Bye Blackbird is a 1993 jazz album by Keith Jarrett's "Standards Trio". It was recorded in 1991 in tribute to Miles Davis, who had died two weeks earlier. It was released on the ECM label only in 1993, as ECM 1467. As in other works by the Keith Jarrett Trio, this is an album mostly consisting of jazz standards.
