Diaper Pin. Artist: Stan Getz. Album: Best of Stan Getz: Yesterdays, 2008. Stan Getz (ts), Al Haig (p), Jimmy Raney (g) Clyde Lombardi (b) Charlie Perry (ds) Album：" Stan Getz, Interlude In Bebop " Recorded：New York City, October 25 & 26, 1948.
Some of tenor-saxophonist Stan Getz's earliest recordings are included on this well-conceived LP. Getz displays a harder sound than one might expect on sextet sides with trombonist Kai Winding and trumpeter Shorty Rogers from late 1945 and on four selections with a quartet from mid-1946. The final four selections (from May 1949) are more typical as Getz (along with fellow tenors Al Cohn and Zoot Sims) plays hard-swinging cool bop; the three tenors can barely be told apart. Bop collectors will want this interesting music.

West Coast Jazz is a 1955 album by Stan Getz accompanied by a quartet including trumpeter Conte Candoli. Getz recorded the album in California, where he was filming parts for The Benny Goodman Story, and appearing for a week at the nightclub Zardi's Jazzland. The musicians that accompanied him at Zardi's were chosen by Getz to make this album with him. The title of the album is an in-joke as Getz was not associated with the West Coast jazz style.
Stan Getz Quartets is an album by saxophonist Stan Getz recorded at sessions in 1949 and 1950 and first released as an LP on the Prestige label in 1955. Getz's airy approach is optimally heard on Quartets' many ballad standards". There's a Small Hotel" (Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart) - 2:56.
