Jo Day. Profile: American-born but South Africa based rock singer and voice artist. Jo Day. The Truth (CD, Album, Enh).
Jo Day is a Rock artiste based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her sound could be called "Heavy Melodic Modern Rock". Her influences vary from Gospel to Heavy Metal. Later the same year Jo left her label (Legend Music) and went 'indie' with the launch of her third album: "The Truth" - which outsold 95% of the artistes at Woodstock 5 and yielded 3 radio hits. at the end of '04 and took a break from live performances to work with Jon Buckley on her fourth album, "Princess", released through Intervention Arts on 26 April '06, which delivered 4 radio hits.

If there's any justice, the solid Let the Truth Be Told will put the man over the top. Guest spots from Ashanti, Paul Wall, and Juvenile should help too, but if this all seems like a forced play for the mainstream, it's not. Seventeen songs and the album never sounds anything less than inspired, necessary even. Z-Ro's verbal sparring with Devin the Dude makes "The Mule" a standout, "Platinum" and "Everyday, Samethang" are sure to figure into your next mixtape, but the highlights keep coming and filler isn't even an issue
By partychick Ongoing - Updated Sep 17, 2018. This is my fifth song album, so I'm really happy and excited that my work has come so very far! I hope everyone enjoys this one as they have the previous four. Also, these are my personal, copy righted songs so if everyone please respects that it would be much appreciated. I've worked really hard on these.
