Iron Maiden is the debut studio album by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden closed their Maiden England world tour in July 2014 headlining at Sonisphere Festival, Knebworth, delighting the crowds by having The Great War Display Team featuring Bruce Dickinson among its pilots, stage a sensational aerial dogfight in the skies above the Festival with Bruce flying his very own WW1 German Fokker Dr1, just hours before taking to the stage. With over 90 million album sales, more than 2000 live performances in 63 countries, tens of millions of fans and 16 studio albums of unerring quality and power to their name, Iron Maiden have more than earned their proudly-held status as one of the most influential and revered rock bands of all time.

This original Iron Maiden hooded zip shows the cover of one of the most beloved songs of the band - The Trooper. The colourful print shows Iron Maiden mascot Eddie as British trooper on the front, with Union Jack and sword on a battlefield. On the back of the hooded zip you can read a line from The Trooper "on this battlefield no one wins".

Founded in Leyton in London's East End in 1975, Iron Maiden released their first album in 1980 as a five-piece with Paul Di'Anno on vocals. Bruce Dickinson would replace him in 1981. With several line-up changes Steve Harris would remain the only original member never to have had a hiatus. отредактировал over 3 years ago. I was introduced to heavy metal with "Somewhere in time", back in '86. Unfortunately, slightly too young for my parents to allow me to see them in Lisbon then.

the greatest Iron Maiden album ever! PROWLER: the best opening for a debut album, and one of the best on the album. REMEMBER TOMORROW: the lighter side of Paul's vocals, and a nice melody of Steve's, well done. RUNNING FREE: quite anthemic, a good rocker. good song to listen to in your first holden crusing into the McDonalds drive thru. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA: the best song on the album, and the first epic. one of, if not, Steve Harris' best bass performance to date, Dave and Dennis started the whole harmonising thing HERE! TRANSYLVANIA: the best maiden instrumental.
