Crystalized Movements were an American psychedelic rock/punk/folk band who recorded and performed sporadically from 1980-1993. The band was formed by guitarist Wayne Rogers and drummer Ed Boyden in Tolland, Connecticut when they were high school freshmen. Rogers and Boyden were brought together by a love of late 1970s No Wave music and 1960s psychedelia. After years of improvisational experimentation, they decided to make an LP in 1983 and recorded duo versions of some of Wayne's songs.

Twisted Village's first masterpiece? Absolutely. And quite possibly the pinnacle topping what most think Revelations From Pandemonium reached with the next LP. Finally pulling together a solid band after nearly 10 years of "noise," the sound really added up - yet still totally insane. I never caught these guys live, but having seen them "grown up" in Magic Hour and Major Stars, you can only imagine Wayne rolling all over the stage while playing a psychotic solo of the most intense, possessed kind. Great songs, brilliant guitar chops and riffs with a killer rhythm section, this is top-notch prime heavy American Psych not to be missed.
