William Goldwyn "Bill" Nunn III (October 20, 1953 – September 24, 2016) was an American actor known for his roles as Radio Raheem in Spike Lee's film Do the Right Thing and Robbie Robertson in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man film trilogy.

ORIGIN Bill Nunn was an American actor. He rose to prominence with the role as Radio Raheem, in Spike Lee’s 1989 film, Do the Right Thing. Nunn was born William Goldwyn Nunn III on October 20, 1952 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His parents were Frances and William Jr. He had a sister named Lynell. Nunn attended Schenley High School followed by Morehouse College. He graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
