Prior to recording the album, the band underwent a somewhat drastic personnel change - replacing longtime members George Bunnell (bass/vocals) and Randy Seol (drums/vocals) with Jimmy Pitman (guitar/vocals) and Gene Gunnels (drums), respectively.

This version of the band was featured in Russ Meyer's film BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. During a lengthy party scene they mime "I'm Comin' Home," "Incense And Peppermints" and "Girl From The City," their final single for UNI. They also back actress Dolly Read's character during her featured song (dubbed by Lynn Carey). Although this album sounds way different from the previous three, it is nonetheless a masterpiece. With the departure of George Bunnell and Randy Seol, and marking the arrival of Jim Pitman and Gene Gunnells, this album has a decidedly harder sound too, with the rollicking long version of "Miss Attraction" and the bluesy "Changes".

The song is performed by the character Sheila, played Off-Broadway in 1967 by Jill O'Hara and by Lynn Kellogg in the original 1968 Broadway production  . Canada Top Singles (RPM). Adult Contemporary (Billboard).
