Hunky Dory" Irish TV program based on the show 'Children Of Coincidence, 1980. Mary C. Brown & The Hollywood Sign" by Dory Previn featuring Colm Wilkinson. original lyrics from 1971 album "Mythical Kings and Iguanas". You know the hollywood sign that stands in the hollywood hills i don't think the christ of the andes ever blessed so many ills the hollywood sign seems to smile like it's constantly saying "cheese" i doubt if the statue of liberty ever welcomed more refugees.

Mary C. Brown and the Hollywood Sign was the fourth solo LP by Dory Previn, released in November 1972. This was a thematic album about Hollywood misfits. The songs were intended for a musical revue that ran briefly in Los Angeles.

Dory Previn's fourth album was the result of an aborted 1973 stage musical. It's a fine collection, but its failure as a theatre production is hardly surprising - "Jesus Was A Androgyne" is hardly the stuff of aisle-packing contemporary musicals. In truth, she was too elevated for her own good, as lofty material like "Anima/Animus" proved. Even when writing in cliché she impressed: "The Perfect Man" is her take on the tale of the golden man with feet of clay, and should by rights be toe-curling and unimaginative
