Diorama is the fourth studio album by Australian alternative rock band Silverchair, released on 31 March 2002 by Atlantic/Eleven. It won the 2002 ARIA Music Award for Best Group and Best Rock Album. The album was co-produced by Daniel Johns and David Bottrill.

Silverchair were an Australian grunge rock band, which formed in 1992 as Innocent Criminals in Merewether, Newcastle with the line-up of Ben Gillies on drums, Daniel Johns on vocals and guitars, and Chris Joannou on bass guitar. The group got their big break in mid-1994 when they won a national demo competition conducted by SBS TV show Nomad and ABC radio station, Triple J. The band was signed by Murmur, and were successful on the Australian and international rock stages.

The Greatest View" - Live from Carriageworks, Sydney (video). Silverchair worked with composer Van Dyke Parks on Diorama; the album contains numerous orchestral arrangements and power ballads, a change from the post-grunge music typical of their earlier work, but consistent with the band's previous orchestrations on Neon Ballroom. The album's title refers to "a world within a world". Five singles were released: "The Greatest View", "Without You", "Luv Your Life", "Across the Night" and "After All These Years".

You're the analyst The fungus in my milk When you want no one And you got someone Through the wind You crawl And laugh at burning dunes When no one else will Ever see. Now that you know why you feel like you do They're turning their head whilst they wait For no one And finally I know why you feel like letting go. I'm watching you watch Over me and I've got The greatest view from here I'm watching you watch Over me and I've got The greatest view from here. Mistakes don't mean a thing If you don't regret them So pack your tactic toes.
