Visions of Love followed a year later, and in early 1999 Brickman returned with Destiny. A classy live effort, My Romance: An Evening with Jim Brickman, appeared in 2000. Two years later, Brickman crafted a beautiful children's album called Love Songs and Lullabies. Efforts such as Grace, Peace, and The Disney Songbook followed in the relaxing yet elegant vein of his earlier work. In 2006, Brickman left longtime label Windham Hill and released Escape on Savoy Jazz.

Visions of Love is the last album of duo Robin and Linda Williams on the Sugar Hill Records label, released in 2002. They would move to Red House Records for their next release. Visions of Love displays the Williams' A Prairie Home Companion connections with members of that show's house band, Minneapolis musician Peter Ostroushko on fiddle and mandolin plus liner notes by Garrison Keillor. I'll Twine 'Mid the Ringlets" (Maude Irving, J. P. Webster) – 4:25.

Jim Brickman (born November 20, 1961) is an American songwriter and pianist of pop music, as well as a radio show host. Brickman has earned six Gold and Platinum albums. He is known for his solo piano compositions, pop-style instrumentals, and vocal collaborations with artists such as Lady Antebellum, Johnny Mathis, Michael W. Smith, Martina McBride, Megan Hilty, Donny Osmond, Delta Goodrem, Olivia Newton-John, and many others.

Also included on Ultimate Love Songs are four new tracks, including the hit single "Never Far Away" with popular Christian rock outfit Rush of Fools. Brickman has worn many hats throughout his career (jingle writer, new age composer, contributor to both the Muppets and Sesame Street), and this fine collection represents just one facet of his musical output. Listeners looking for a more instrumental-based, though no less amorous overview should check out 2007's Pure Jim Brickman.
