Attack Attack!'s first release, an independent EP titled If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?, was released in 2007, which led to the signing of the band to Rise Records the same year. They released three full-length albums, Someday Came Suddenly, a self-titled album, and This Means War all through Rise Records. Formation and Someday Came Suddenly (2007–08). Line-up change (2009). Self-titled album and Franck's departure (2010–11). This Means War and second line-up change (2011–12). Departure from label and final tours (2013).

Unfortunately for Attack Attack!, the only thing worse than their music videos is their music. The band performs sonically like the premarital lust-child of a slightly-evolved brokeNYCDE and The Devil Wears Prada (bad parental combo: problem sacrificing harmless 80's aerobic-track synths by splicing them awkwardly with brainless, meat-headed breakdowns. Someday Came Suddenly' is audible evidence that Attack Attack! aren't the fleas or the headlice of metalcore - they are the crabs.

On 2008’s SOMEDAY CAME SUDDENLY, the emo act Attack! Attack! presents a restless outing that ranges from the melodic tune Bro, Ashley’s Here to the searing screamo number Party Foul. While the shift between the two sounds can be disorienting, the group’s keyboard-centric arrangements manage to tie SUDDENLY together, as best revealed on The People’s Elbow.

Have both pressings, the sound comparable (probably same master) however the packaging on this one is a few steps up. Feels like a more robust item overall. Nicely done rise.

Sounds pretty much the same as the first pressing, it just comes with a slipcase and a different backing (and of course different colored vinyl). The slipcase looks cool enough; but, I think it would of looked better if they added the exclamation point (Attack Attack!)...
