I loved listening to 'Please look after this bear' (thanks to 'listen again'). We recently moved house, and I decided he should have a wash before being packed. I soaked him in the sink, whereupon he gained about a stone in weight! I am 46 this year, so he is a very old bear, and they didn't half make them sturdy in those days! His stuffing took nearly 2 weeks to dry out, by which time he was definitely disgruntled. You could tell by his face.

Paddington meets Judy's brother Jonathan and Mrs. Bird, the Browns' housekeeper, who decides Paddington is badly in need of a bath.
