The Walk" is a song by English rock band The Cure, released as a stand-alone single in July 1983. It later appeared on the compilation album Japanese Whispers. It was recorded when the band was briefly reduced to the two founding members Robert Smith and Lol Tolhurst following the departure of bassist Simon Gallup following the end of the band's previous tour in support of the album Pornography.

The Walk is one of The Cure’s more obscure singles, and deals with romance from the perspective of a dog. Between ‘82 and '84, the so-called Three Imaginary Boys were finished with Pornography and began taking their sound to The Top. In a manner of speaking, they were transforming as a band: the drummer started playing keys, the bassist left and came back, and Robert Smith extensively collaborated with Siouxsie and the Banshees. He and guitarist Steve Severin would release an album as The Glove in '83. The song peaked at in the UK, becoming their biggest hit to date

The End Of The World.

The Walk (оригинал The Cure). Прогулка (перевод Максим Куваев из Красноярска). I called you after midnight. And both play dead then cry out loud

Mixed Up is a 1990 remix album by British rock band The Cure. The songs are remixes of some of their hits, reflecting the popularity of remixing of existing songs and dance culture of the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 2018, a sequel was released titled Torn Down. Most of the songs are extended mixes.
