Spitalfield derived their band name from Spitalfields, a section of London's East End where Jack the Ripper lived. He released his first full-length album, Wonderful Trouble, independently on July 5, 2011. The album was produced by Sean O'Keefe, who worked with Spitalfield on their 2003 release, Remember Right Now. His second album The Wild Type was released on September 15, 2015 on InVogue Records, Other former Spitalfield members JD Romero and TJ Milici play together in the band Thrillage. Daniel Lowder is not currently active.

This song is by Spitalfield and appears on the compilation album Everything 1998-2002 (2007). I called it in the airLike I was the only one who could understand the way the cards fall. My expression plays a great false handIt's not what I'm about but I'm done and out and I know I can'tSee past this broken dream.
