Nirvana is a "best-of" compilation album by the American rock band Nirvana, released in October, 2002. It was the third Nirvana album to be released following the death of vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain in April 1994, and the first to feature studio material. It is also the band's first best-of compilation. The album features the d "You Know You're Right", a song recorded in January 1994 during Nirvana's final studio session.

Live and Loud is a live video released by American grunge band Nirvana in September 2013. It was released as part of the 20th anniversary of the band's third and final studio album, In Utero. It showcases the entirety of the band's December 1993 live performance at Pier 48, Seattle which was recorded by MTV for "Live and Loud". The DVD also contains bonus footage from other performances from the In Utero tour.

Nirvana's best tracks - not necessarily the same thing as Cobain's best songs, although they frequently overlapped - were buried on album tracks, B-sides, stray singles, so there's no good criteria for why, say, "Dumb" makes the cut and "Aneurysm" doesn't.

The KTS release is using the Nirvana - Europe 1994 CD as main source, which was edited (cutting out around 54 seconds of dead air and 9 seconds at the start of "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter"), and, for the last 187 seconds, an exclusive source that is slightly edited. The full demolition jam and Kris' last speech are present (which are edited or missing on the Nirvana - Europe 1994 release).
