Freedom is not only my favourite RATM song, it's also easily in my top five best songs ever made. Everything about it is perfect. I'm going to get the instrumentals out of the way first, this song easily has the best guitar, bass and drum work in any Rage song. Goddamn, that change up after the first 'Anger is a gift' part still surprises me no matter how much I listen to this song. Now onto the lyrics: the lyrics are easily the band's best here, and that's saying something for a band known.
