Monty Python's Flying Circus (album). Monty Python's Flying Circus is the first album produced by the Monty Python troupe, released in both the UK and US in 1970, with the US version featuring a back cover slightly different from the original UK version. It features newly recorded versions of sketches from the first Monty Python's Flying Circus television series.

This is a list of all 45 episodes from the television series Monty Python's Flying Circus: The original air dates do not all apply to BBC Scotland, which took a different approach to airing the series. Series 1 was broadcast at the same time, except for the last two episodes, which were shown on 2 and 16 January 1970. Series 2 was broadcast on Sundays from 17 September to 16 January 1971 (not 10 or 17 October 1970). Series 3 was broadcast on Thursday evenings on BBC1 at 10:15.

Monty Python's Flying Circus was the first comedy album by Monty Python, released in 1970 by BBC Records. It collects sketches that first aired on the Monty Python's Flying Circus television series and changes some details.

The vast majority of the Python catalog can be found on CD, and this title graced the medium for a very brief time in the mid-'80s as part of the BBC's Audio Visual International series. While all of the characters may not be as fully-formed - such as the sincere and butch Chapman persona used in "The Visitors" - this is a worthwhile find, if not a somewhat compulsory primer for all enthusiasts.

The Monty Python players make their mark with a winning mix of wit, ingenuity, and brilliant timing - and a penchant for mockery and cross-dressing. 31m. Mozart presents famous deaths. Whizzo Butter is indistinguishable from dead crab. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson has only one shed. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. But Monty Python's Flying Circus subverts all expectations with their trademark surreal humor. 30m. For quicker service, a housewife chooses death. The Ministry of Silly Walks fields a grant applicant. The crimes of the Piranha Brothers are recalled. 2. The Spanish Inquisition.

Monty Python's Flying Circus 1. The original surreal sketch comedy showcase for the Monty Python troupe. Actor: John Cleese, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Carol Cleveland.

The very first series of 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' had come to the end of its original run just four months before the BBC rushed this album into production. Despite designing the iconic cover artwork and even cropping up as an extremely camp unwanted guest in the Visitors sketch, it was a five man outfit back then. The one woman, Carol Cleveland, is reassuringly on hand to be shocked, seductive or sedate as and when required
